Business Analyst Insurance

As Business Analyst Insurance, you should be able to understand key concepts of the insurance value chain (underwriting, post-sales management, claims, accouting) and translate clients’ requirement in documents and other artefacts necessary for the successful implementation of insurance solutions.

 

Experience: at least 3 years experience as Insurance Business Analyst / Specialist / Consultant

 

Skills:

  • Knowledge of Insurance Processes (Product development, Underwriting, Post-sales, claims, technical accounting) and Insurance Products (Life and/or no-Life)
  • Ability in analyzing and translating the client’s requirements in functional and technical specification
  • Documenting identified solution

 

Expectations and Tasks:

  • Support in client’s requirements gathering
  • Definition and support in the implementation of use cases, epics and user stories
  • Hand over the results of the business analysis and the solution design to other teams (e.g. to developers or the testing/QA team)
  • Support User Acceptance Test / Business Test

 

Competencies:

  • University degree, preferably STEM degree
  • Good knowledge of Insurance business processes and Life and/or Non-Life products
  • Preferably experience in the design and delivering of insurance solution
  • Knowledge of the methodologies of development and analysis, both traditional (Waterfall) and Agile approach, is also appreciated
  • Adaptable and flexible
  • Able to work in teams with different workforces and with challenging goals
  • Good to analyze issues or business problems
  • Relevant interpersonal and communication skills
