As Business Analyst Insurance Lead, you should be able to face clients, identify needs and liaise with development team to deliver innovative and competitive solutions. You will also be involved in the project to provide insurance solutions and drive communication with Business, IT and Operations.

Experience: At least 7 years experience as Insurance Business Analyst / Specialist / Consultant

Skills: 

• Understanding the Business Objective
• Strong Knowledge of Insurance Processes (Underwriting, Post-sales, claims, technical accounting) and Insurance Products (Life and/or no-Life)
• Strong ability in analyzing and translating the client’s requirements in functional and technical specification
• Ability to communicate concisely with the stakeholders and clients with regard to the requirements

Expectations and Tasks:

• Facilitate workshops and conduct client interviews to identify requirement and develop user stories
• Work with the client and development teams to ensure correct translation of business requirements to technical solution requirements and specifications
• Support test teams in writing test scenarios on business process
• Coordinate with the technical teams to ensure appropriate technical considerations are fully considered
• Document and present identified solution outcomes in front of the stakeholders and clients

Competencies

• University degree, preferably STEM degree
• Strong knowledge of Insurance business processes and Life and/or Non-Life products
• Experience in the design and delivering of insurance solution
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of the methodologies of development and analysis, both traditional (Waterfall) and Agile approach, is also appreciated
• Good in planning and monitoring agreed schedules
• Adaptable and flexible
• Able to work in teams with different workforces and with challenging goals
• Good to analyze issues or business problems
• Relevant interpersonal and communication skills
