Our client, a cutting-edge fintech consultancy part of the IBM group, is looking to hire in Milan or Rome, on a permanent basis:
IT Architect
- Company: Dock Joined in tech
- Experience: Min 5 years of experience as Lead Architect
- Skills: SOA Architectures, Microservices, DevOps, CI/CD, Big Data, Data Lake, Microsoft Azure Cloud (certification is a plus), experience with GDPR, privacy and security, Architectural Project Management, Lead Architect
The ideal candidate will lead the architectural design and implementation of end-to-end solutions. He / She will be responsible for the coordination of technical and strategic teams, in order to ensure timely delivery of architectural projects to the highest possible standards and always in accordance with best practices.
Expectations and Tasks
- Manage and supervise all activities carried out by technical and architectural teams
- Directly manage the development of the architectural projects, and define the preliminary implementation details as per best practices
- Ensure that all architectural project work is completed on time and in adherence to agreed specifications and standards
- Define project’s standards and best practices
- Design end-to-end architectures, incorporating solutions, data and integrations
- Direct and guide the development of new methodologies
- Define the roadmap for the client to achieve optimal results, while guaranteeing efficient adoption of technological skills
Skills
- Over 5 years of experience as Lead Architect, managing architectural design of end-to-end solutions and strategic roadmaps
- Experience as Design Authority of a project, ensuring that all activities and architectural designs are produced to the highest standards and in accordance with existing practices, politics, and strategies
- Ability to manage global implementations and the complexity of cloud environments
- Solid communication skills in the field of technical strategy
- Proven ability to communicate and guide the architectural design, and to coordinate technical and strategic teams
- Proven experience in SOA architectures, microservices
- Proven experience in DevOps, CI/CD methodologies
- Proven experience in Big Data, Data Lake
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud architecture (Azure certification is a plus)
- Experience with, and ability to manage GDPR, privacy and security
- Work experience leading software developers, solution architects, application developers and data scientists, in order to plan end-to-end solutions
- Fluent in English and Italian
- EU Passport holder
